From the life experiences of its two founders, Zeinab Zohny and Irene Sasso, and from an ancient and hospitable place welcoming them, Oman, ERA was born!
The name ERA has been inspired from the fascination for a product that belongs to a time that never passes and always returns, a gift of nature that invents and reinvents places and stories.
Our experience in Oman is intertwined with a story of scents in a space of peace and fulfillment.
After two decades in Oman, one of the traditions that has become part of our daily ritual is the use of Frankincense.
We have learned over these years and through our research and encounters with Omanis its numerous properties and benefits and how it has profoundly modeled the culture of this country.
ERA is born with a deep desire to share this knowledge about Frankincense.
The land of Oman has for centuries been defined by its trade routes and scented ceremonies enriching different cultures in all eras.
After extensive research, we have select- ed high quality products. We have not only considered the raw material we are using but also systems of extraction, production and distribution.
